This is a blackberry pie for people who don't even like blackberry pie!


  • Katie's Blackberry Pie
  • 4c Blackberries (I used freshly picked and washed them in strainer)
  • 1 1/4 c Sugar
  • 1/2 c Flour
  • 1 Tblspn Tapioca
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Package of 2 store bought crusts


  • Preheat oven to 400. Gently lay crust out in pan and press evenly in. Mix dry ingredients together, add berries and then vanilla. Fill bottom crust. Put top crust over and press edge with fork all the way around. You may wish to use egg wash or milk between the layers of crust on the edge so that it sticks together well.
  • Cut four 1/2" slits in top crust. Bake @ 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
