Ingredients

  • 1-8oz. cream cheese
  • ½ pound butter
  • 3 Tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour

Directions

  • This recipe was used in our family for years upon years. Until someone gave us a variation, which I have listed at the bottom. It is softer and flakier than this recipe and we have used it ever since!
  • 1-8oz. cream cheese
  • ½ pound butter
  • 3 Tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Roll out on powdered sugar or granulated sugar.
  • Fill with assorted toppings/fillings.
  • Bake at 350° for about 12 minutes.
  • Watch closely!!

  • Francine’s Kolachky (use same instructions about rolling and filling as above)
  • 4 cups flour
  • 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2-8oz. cream cheese
  • 1 pound margarine
  • Bake at 325° for 10 minutes.
