  • 1 lb butter, softened
  • 2 tbls sugar
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream, left in refrigerator overnight to soften
  • 4 cups flour
  • Fruit jelly
  • Powdered sugar


  • Pre heat oven to 350
  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  • Add ice cream and bet until fluffy
  • Add flour a little at a time, dough will be sticky if done right
  • Drop by tablespoonful, make a circle with well in middle
  • Fill well worth jelly
  • Bake for 15 minutes
  • Dust with powdered sugar when cool
