KOLLAS MEXICAN PICADILLO WITH FLOUR TORTILLAS

Ingredients

  • 500g hacked beef
  • some oil to fry
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 onion finely cut
  • 1 garlic clove finely cut
  • pinch of red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 60g sliced crushed almonds
  • 60g california raisins
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tin of whole tomatoes with juice
  • 1 mini tin of tomato puré
  • 8 Flour tortillas to fill

Directions

  • Fry the beef in oil and add onion and garlic, then add the spices, then the tomatoes and the raisins and almonds. Cook over moderate heat for a while.
  • Put the oven on like 200 degrees on Celcius. Take a nice Lasagne plate. Divide meet filling into 8 flour tortillas and roll up. Set side by side in the Lasagne plate
