Kollas Mexican Picadillo With Flour Tortillas

This I always have to cook regularly :)

 


CATEGORIES

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g hacked beef
  • some oil to fry
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 onion finely cut
  • 1 garlic clove finely cut
  • pinch of red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 60g sliced crushed almonds
  • 60g california raisins
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tin of whole tomatoes with juice
  • 1 mini tin of tomato puré
  • 8 Flour tortillas to fill

DIRECTIONS

Fry the beef in oil and add onion and garlic, then add the spices, then the tomatoes and the raisins and almonds. Cook over moderate heat for a while.


Put the oven on like 200 degrees on Celcius. Take a nice Lasagne plate. Divide meet filling into 8 flour tortillas and roll up. Set side by side in the Lasagne plate
