BackstoryI grew up eating my grandmother's homemade sauerkraut. She cook it with ribs, boiled. Dogs, chopped up, boiled or fried. But I liked it on a hot dog best.
- 8 hot dog, I use Ball Park
- 8 hot dog buns
- 28 ounces sauerkraut
- In a large skillet add the sauerkraut. Place hot dogs on top of the kraut. Cover and let simmer 15-20 minutes or until hot dogs are plump and hot.
- Place dog on bun (can toast bun), spoon kraut on top. Can add what you like on the dog, onions, mustard, ect.
