Krystal's Almond Sesame Salad

Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1 large red onion
CRUNCHIES
4 tablespoons sunflower seeds or sesame seeds
2 tablespoons slivered almonds
2 tablespoons bacon bits
1/2 cup chow mein noodles
DRESSING
4 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup salad oil
2 tablespoons white vinegar


Mix crunchies together in a bowl and set aside. Mix together the dressing ingredients and shake well. Toss dressing and crunchies over lettuce and sliced onion just before serving.
