Why I Love This Recipe

My mom made this every year when the beans were ready for picking out of the garden. I have also made this using lamb steaks. Served with boiled potatoes.....this recipe is so good!

Ingredients You'll Need

1 1/2 lbs. lamb shoulder
4 slices bacon, diced
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sour cream
1 lb. green beans

Directions

Fry bacon until golden. Remove and cook onion in drippings. Remove onion and add meat. Brown slowly on all sides. Sprinkle with salt and paprika. Return onion and bacon to skillet and add beef broth. Cover and cook until tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Cook green beans separately. Set aside. Thicken meat with flour and water mixed together. Add sour cream. Gently mix in green beans. ENJOY!
