Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

14.5oz can chickpeas/garbanzo beans, drained
2 rounded tablespoons tahini sesame paste
1 lemon, juiced
2-4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander (optional)
3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
Coarse salt
Coarse pepper
Pita bread


Directions

Combine beans, tahini, pepper flakes, cumin, coriander, garlic, salt, and lemon juice in food processor bowl and grind into a smooth paste. Add oil slowly- to taste. Transfer to a small dip dish and surround spread with warm pita wedges.


To make creamier, add more tahini and oil
