Layer #1 (crust)
1 stick butter-softened
1 cup flour
1/2 cup pecans-chopped
Mix together and bake in a 9x13 pan at 350 degrees for 13 minutes. Cool.
8 oz. cream cheese-softened
1 cup powdered sugar
8 oz. cool whip but only use 1 cup in this step
Mix well and spread on crust.
2 packs (3 oz. each) Instant lemon pudding
3 cups milk
Beat until thick and spread over layer #2
Spread top with remaining cool whip and another 1/2 cup pecans.
Refrigerate 4 hours.

Happy Birthday to my mom! This is her favorite dessert in the world and I'm surprising her with it today! I am going to post this the way the layers go. It is much easier so check each layer for the ingredients. You can use any flavor pudding you like and just change the name. I have used chocolate and called it Chocolate Dessert.
