LEMON HERB GREEN BEANS

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel

Directions

  • Seasoned green beans make a great side dish for almost any main course. Basil, oregano and lemon peel accent the fresh flavor.
  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 7 minutes
  • Makes 8 servings.
  • Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • Directions:
  • 1. Cook beans in boiling salted water in large uncovered saucepan on medium-high heat 7 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain.
  • 2. Return beans to saucepan. Toss with remaining ingredients. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  • Lemon Herb Asparagus: Use 1 1/2 pounds asparagus, ends trimmed, in place of the green beans.
