Lemon-sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
8 oz sour cream
1/4 milk
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp lemon extract
1 tsp vanilla


Beat butter and shortening until creamy.


Add sugar and beat well.


Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until the yellow disappears.


Combine sour cream and milk.


Combine flour and baking powder, add to butter mixture alternately with the sour cream mixture. Mix at low after each addition.


Stir in lemon and vanilla.


Bake at 325 for about 1 hour in 10 inch tube pan.
