Linguini with White Clam Sauce

Ingredients

5 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup olive oil
3 cans chopped clams (6 1/2 ounces each) drained
3/4 cup clam juice reserved from the canned clams
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley (flat parsley if possible)
1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon black pepper


Sautee garlic quickly in olive oil, add clams, sautee for 3 minutes. Add rest of ingredients. Cook covered low heat for 10 minutes. Serve over linguini. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Enough sauce for 1/2 pound to 3/4 pound pasta.

mmmmmm this sounds yummy. Will have to try it when I get home to Iceland, as its not as easy to find a good fish in Germany as it is to find good white wine :)
