- 1 cup sugar
- Beat all together for 25 minutes. Pour into a springform pan. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes with pan of water on the shelf underneath for moisture and to prevent burning. Cool for 35-40 minutes, then follow with topping recipe to finish cooking.

- 3/4 cup sugar
- Beat for 10 minutes till smooth and creamy. Pour over cooled cake. Then bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Cool and remove from pan
