Liz's sausage rolls (Australian)
500g sausage, minced
1/2 chopped onion
few sprigs chopped parsley
1 packet of pre-rolled puff or short-crust pastry
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
Mix all ingredients together with hands.
Cut a pastry square in half and place flat on board.
Put a line of meat mixture 1cm from the edge of the pastry and then fold over the meat mixture and re-fold edge back over.
Brush edge with milk and press edges together. Brush top of sausage roll lightly with milk and cut in 5cm lengths.
Place on a baking tray and cook in oven for approximately 20 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
