- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 T. cornstarch
- 3 T. cocoa
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 t. butter
- 1/2 t. vanilla
- Mix and cook until thick and add butter and vanilla.
NotesThis easy homemade hot fudge topping is a recipe my dad liked to make. We use this so often, I have the recipe written on the cocoa can. Have the ice cream dished up quickly and ready to serve, or the hot fudge will melt it before everyone gets there serving.
