MARLENE'S CARMEL APPLE CHEESECAKE

Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 1 1/2 Cups Graham Wafer Crumbs
  • 1/3 Cup Melted Butter (or margarine)
  • 1/3 Cup Splenda (or sugar)
  • Filling #1
  • 4 Golden Delicious apples peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 Cup Splenda (or sugar)
  • 1/4 Tsp. Cinnamon
  • Filling #2
  • 2 - 8 oz. Pkg. Softened Cream Cheese
  • 1/3 Cup Splenda (or sugar)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/3 Cup Flour
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • Topping
  • 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1/3 Cup Splenda (or sugar)
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Melted Butter or Margarine
  • 1/3 C Chopped Pecans

Directions

  • Mix crust ingredients and press into a spring form pan. Bake at 325 degrees for about 10 minutes. Cool.
  • Combine filling #1 ingredients and cook in a pot or skillet until apple pieces are slightly softened. Spread onto the crumb crust.
  • Mix filling #2 ingredients well with beaters and spread on top of apples.
  • Mix together filling #3 ingredients and sprinkle on top of cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool. Drizzle carmel sauce (ice cream topping) over the top as much as you desire.

Notes

I wanted a cheesecake and my Mom's apple crisp both so I combined the two flavours into this recipe.
