Why I Love This Recipe

When my sisters and I were growing up my mom had to use whatever she had to make recipes and I remember coming home from school and she would have made a homemade fudge cake or a cake with simple icing. She always bought selfrising flour to make biscuits with so she had to use it for cakes also.


Ingredients You'll Need

2 cups selfrising flour
1 cup milk
3 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter melted
1 tsp. vanilla or a little bit more.


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together with hand mixer until smooth. Pour into two greased and floured 8 inch cake pans. Cook until golden brown or until when a toothpick is inserted comes out clean.
