Make them Eat Beets!
Bunch of beets
Specialty Balsamic (aged, thicker balsamic - I use Cinnamon Pear or Vanilla Balsamic)
Drop of Olive oil
Clean beets, cut off leaves and peel outer layer from the beets
Quarter (or cut into 8ths depending upon size of beet) to keep all similar size)
Roast in the oven at 400 for about 45 minutes, or until you can pierce with a fork
Pour beets (and the juices) into a serving dish, sprinkle with olive oil and then put 1/4 cup of specialty Balsamic vinegar over.
Pairs Well With
Simple easy breeze, and the double benefit is that if you buy the beets with the leaves (greens) attached, you can sauté them in a bit of olive oil, crushed garlic, prosciutto or pancetta, and sprinkle with cheese and red pepper AMAZING!!!
The Beets are super easy, and with the right balsalmic glaze, will transform this healthy vegetable into something EVERYONE loves!
