Malted Milk Cookies
vegetable cooking spray
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
2 tablespoons instant hot chocolate mix
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups crushed malted milk balls
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray several cookie sheets with vegetable oil; set aside. In a medium bowl, combine flour, hot chocolate mix, baking soda and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture. Add malted milk balls and stir well.
Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes until firm to the touch. Cool for 5 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
