INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 27-32 minutes
- Servings: 16 Brownies
- Preparation Time: About 15 minutes
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp maple flavoring
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Confectioners' sugar
DIRECTIONS
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar
Add the eggs, one at a time
Beat well after each addition
Beat in the maple flavoring
Combine the flour and baking powder
Add to the egg mixture
Stir in the walnuts
Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan
Bake at 350 F for 27-32 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean
Cool
Dust with confectioners' sugar if desired
