Marbled Holiday Pound Cake

Serves | Prep Time about 1 hour | Cook Time 70 minuutes

Ingredients

4 cups flour
6 eggs
1 3/4 t. baking powder
3/4 t. salt
1/2 t. baking soda
2 t. cinnamon
1 c. unsalted butter (soft)
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup solid pumpkin
2 squares sweetened chocolate melted
2 T. brewed cold coffee
1 T. Vanilla


Preheat oven to 350 deg, grease/flour 10" tube pan (angel food).


In large blow, combine 3 1/2 cups four, 1 1/2 t. baking powder, salt and baking soda, set aside.


In large bowl with electric mixer on high, cream butter


gradually add sugar


beat for 2 minutes. reduce to med-low


add eggs, 1 at a time, alternate flour mixture and sour cream


End with flour, measure 2 cupss and stir into cinnamon


add pumpkin, blend, set aside.


In medium bowl, add 2 1/2 cups plain batter with chocolate and coffee, set aside.


Add vanilla to remaining batter.


Spoon 3 differet baters into prepared pan by heaping spoonfuls, alternating flavors.


Do not smooth top.


Bake 70 minute.


Toothpick test.


Cover with foil if browning to quick


Cool 15 minute


Run knife around, remove, cool completely
