- 4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 3/4 cups crisco
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- Combine flour, sugar, salt and crisco until it forms "peas" .
- Mix together egg, water and vinegar then add to the flour mixture.
- Shape into 4 disks and wrap well and put in refrigerator a couple hours before rolling out. There is enough dough for 2 double crust pies. You can freeze the dough.
