- 1 1/2 lbs mushrooms
- 3/4 cups oil
- 1/3 cup wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 6 pepper corns or just use a 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- In sauce pan, simmer all ingredients except mushrooms, for 10 minutes. Add mushrooms, stir until coated, then cook in a covered pan for 3-5 minutes.
- Store mushrooms in sauce in a covered dish in the refrigerator.
