  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 1/2 pounds powdered sugar
  • Melt marshmallows in microwae or in a double boiler. combine water and knead in sugar until the dough is not sticky. I use my dough hook but you can probably use your hands. You may not need all the sugar.
  • let sit until cool.
  • Store wrapped in airtight container
  • Reheat in microwave to use it if it gets hard


  • Notes Hardens on outside stays soft on the inside
  • For chocolate, add 1 oz melted chocolate and 1 tablespoon for small recipe
  • may add flavoring, 1 tablespoon candy melts, or any type
  • can roll very thin without tearing
  • crisco on your hands may help handling
  • if string just add a touch more water and heart
  • may be used for roses,leaves...anything
  • do not use marshmellow cream
  • can be refrigerated
  • doesn't crack
  • doesn't tear like regular fondant
