My dear friend brought this casserole to my husband and I when I was down with my Rheumatoid Arthritis, she brought salad, a loaf of bread and dessert along with this delicious casserole. She always includes the recipe! It is simple and very good. Great for taking to a potluck for a dish to pass.


  • 16 ouces of penne noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce and meat if desired, stir into cooked noodles
  • 16 ouces of cottage cheese
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 6 ounces of shredded parmesan cheese
  • garlic power, to taste
  • oregano, to taste
  • basil, to taste
  • salt, to taste
  • Mozzarella cheese, about 1 cup


  • Mix parmesan and cottage cheese, eggs and seasonings
  • In a 9 X 13 pan, layer noodle and sauce mixture, then add egg and cheese mixture, then rest of noodle/sauce misture, sprinkle top with mozzarella cheese
  • Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to one hour
