MASALA PRAWNS

Ingredients

  • 1kg prawns - deshell and removed veins
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • Ingredients A
  • 2 heaped tsp ginger (grind to paste)
  • 8 cloves garlic (grind to paste)
  • 4 onion - cut to small cubes
  • 4 tomatoes - cut to small cubes
  • 8 black cardamons
  • 8 cloves
  • 2 stick cinnamon (3 cm)
  • 2 bay leaf
  • Ingredients B
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp yohurt
  • coriander leaves to garnish

Directions

  • Heat oil and fry ingredient A.
  • When onions are brown and soft, add prawns, spice powder, salt and yoghurt.
  • When prawns turned pink, remove and serve with garnish.
