MASHED SWEET POTATOES

 

  • Cooking Time: 60 minutes
  • Servings: 2-4
  • Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 medium to large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp of molasses or agave sweetener

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • Wrap sweet potatoes in foil
  • Bake potatoes for 45-60 minutes until throughly baked and soft
  • Peel potatoes and mash in a stainless steel bowl
  • Add nutmeg and molasses to the mixture until fully blended

Notes

In an effort to spice up my low carb, low fat desired diet...I created a spin on the old fashioned candied recipe without the butter and brown sugar
