MASHED SWEET POTATOES

Mashed Sweet Potatoes

In an effort to spice up my low carb, low fat desired diet...I created a spin on the old fashioned candied recipe without the butter and brown sugar

 


INGREDIENTS

  • Cooking Time: 60 minutes
  • Servings: 2-4
  • Preparation Time: 5 minutes
  • 2 medium to large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp of molasses or agave sweetener

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 425 degrees


Wrap sweet potatoes in foil


Bake potatoes for 45-60 minutes until throughly baked and soft


Peel potatoes and mash in a stainless steel bowl


Add nutmeg and molasses to the mixture until fully blended
