- 2 onions - chopped
- 4 garlic cloves - chopped
- 2 bay leaves
- 5 cloves
- 1 tbsp rosemary leaves
- 1 tbsp italian seasoning
- salt and pepper
- 3 28 oz cans crushed tomatoes
- 2 28 oz cans tomato puree
- Saute onions and garlic in a little oil, add meat and everything but tomatoes and bay leaves. Brown the meat thru and add in tomatoes, bay leaves and 1 of the tomato cans filled with water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 2 hours. Add sugar if needed.
