Mexican Bar B Que Chicken

Ingredients

1/2 cup salad oil
2 tbsp. instant onion, minced
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. ground cumin seed
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
1 chicken (3 lb.), cut up


Make marinade by combining salad oil, minced onion, lemon juice, paprika, salt, ground cumin seed and red pepper.


Place cut chicken pieces in a tightly sealable bowl or plastic bag. Pour the marinade over all of the pieces then seal the container. Refrigerate for 12 hours or longer.


Cook the chicken pieces over a charcoal grill or under a preheated broiler for 45 minutes. Turn often and baste as needed with the marinade
