MISERLY MOMS MAPLE SYRUP

Ingredients

  • 2 C. Sugar
  • 1 C. Water
  • 1 tsp. maple extract

Directions

  • Bring water and sugar to a slow boil over low heat, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat before it comes to a rolling boil ( to keep crystals from forming).
  • Add flavoring as it is cooling.
  • ****Store in the refrigerator****

Homemade syrup can be made as thick as store-bought by replacing half the water with corn syrup. You may aslo add butter flavoring.
