Mississippi Mud Cake

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup plain flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/2 cup chopped nuts
dash salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 3.5 oz can coconut
miniature marshmallows
Icing:
1 box confectioners sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp vanilla
6 Tbsp milk


Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs and blend well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 35 minutes. When done, immediately cover top of cake with marshmallows. Do not remove cake from pan. Pour icing over marshmallows after cake cools.


Icing:


Sift sugar and cocoa together. Add other ingredients and blend well. Pour over marshmallows. Swirl frosting over marshmallows.
