Missouri Pound Cake
1 cup butter, softened
3 cups sugar
2 tbsp vanilla
4 cups flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup sour cream
Cream the butter, sugar, eggs, and the vanilla in a large mixing bowl.
Alternating add the flour, baking soda, and the sour cream.
Divide and pour evenly into two greased 8 x 4 inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350 F until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about one hour.
