MoMo's Chicken & Dumplings
Why I Love This Recipe
MoMo has been making this for a long time from a recipe in an old cookbook. Simple beyond measure but so comforting, it is the perfect winter dish.
Ingredients You'll Need
8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
3 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup dry white wine
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup of milk
Add chicken thighs, broth, wine and garlic to pressure cooker and cook on high for 7 minutes. Release steam.
Remove chicken thighs from the pressure cooker, shred with forks, and return to pressure cooker.
Mix the Bisquick and milk together to form a dough.
Bring pressure cooker to a boil - "Cook High" - and drop in dumplings. Cook uncovered for 6 minutes, then season with salt and pepper and serve.
