1-1/2 c. sugar
1 c. melted butter
1/4 c. coffee liqueur or
2 tsp. instant coffee crystals
dissolved in 1/4 c. water
2/3 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. instant coffee crystals
1 tsp. water
1 16 oz. can vanilla frosting
Chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Grease a 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
In large mixing bowl, stir together sugar, butter,and coffee or liqour.
Add eggs; beat with spoon just until combined. In small mixing bowl,combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder
Gradually stir flour mixture into egg mixture. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
For frosting, stir together 1 tsp. coffee and 1 tsp. water until dissolved; stir in vanilla frosting.
Spread frosting over
brownies; top with chocolate sprinkles.
