8 tablespoons butter
4 to 5 tablespoons ice water

Mix sugar, salt, flour and eggs
Add corn syrup, butter, and vanilla extract
Stir in pecans
Pour mixture into pie crust
Bake at 350 for 45 to 55 minutes

Mix flour, salt and sugar
Add in butter until dough resembles pebbles
Drizzle ice water over the dough and knead until dough comes together
Roll into disk
Butter and dust with flour a 9 inch pan
Place disk in the bottom of the pie pan
Add in filling
