RECIPE BACKSTORY

Mom made biscuits often as we all enjoyed chicken gravy over biscuits in the long NY winters. Dad always told her they did not taste like his Mom's biscuits. During one of Dad's many lay offs lard was included in a food package we received. Mom made the biscuits with the lard and Dad had nothing but praise...tasted just like he remembered from his Mom's cooking!

Of all the biscuits there are I chose "momcammer's", for her parents story. It's so touching!! Then I baked them. I never bake with lard, the thought groses me out. But her Dad is right!! And now this litle Canadian wants to hang out in New York. Thanks Carly.
