Mom's Caramel Apple Pie
1 pie crust
7-8 Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced
3/8 cup sugar
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
caramel pieces (about 15, unwrapped)
1 1/2-2 cup oats
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
cinnamon and nutmeg
1/2 cup Carmel Sauce
Mix apples, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and carmel pieces together and place in pie crust.
Mis all ingredients together (should be a sticky consistency).
Pat on top of apple filling, covering whole pie. Seal edges of crust with foil.
Cook pie at 350 for 70 minutes.
When pie is finished, drizzle top with caramel sauce (about 1/2 c.)
