Mom's Easy Roux
salt and pepper
**I add a little Tony's to mine
Mix ingredents and pour into a cast iron skillet and place in a preheated 400 degree oven. Stir every 15-20 minutes until flour is nicely browned. Allow to cool before storing. Use this in you recipes needing roux.
