Mom's Hot Dog Sauce

I never could fix hot dog sauce as good as my Mom, so here's a really good recipe I'd like to share.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 2 onions,diced
  • 1/2 green pepper,diced
  • HORMEL CHILI
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 lg. can tomato juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • little bit of sugar

DIRECTIONS

Brown ground beef;drain off any fat.


Add all other ingredients.


Cook slowly for 1 to 2 hours.


Makes:1 1/2 qt.
