Mom's Mac nut jello

Serves 12 | Prep Time 90 | Cook Time 30


1/2 c butter
2/3 c chopped macadamia nuts
1 c flour
1/4 c brown sugar
1 small box lemon jello
1 c hot water
8 oz cream cheese
3/4 c sugar
1 pt whipping cream
2 c hot water
2 c ice
3 small boxes strawberry jello

Cream sugar and butter then add flour and nuts

Press into a 9x12 pyrex pan

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown

Let cool

Dissolve lemon jello in 1 cup hot water.

Cream together cream cheese and sugar and mix into jello, let cool

Add whipping cream, mixing well

Pour onto cooled crust

Chill for 40 minutes

Dissolve strawberry jello in 2 cups hot water, then add ice to help cool quicker

Pour over center layer and chill overnightq=

Pairs Well With


I have never seen another jello like this one - whenever my mom makes it, you can never stop at just one piece!
