MOM'S POLISH CHILI

Backstory

This is something that my husband asked me to learn how to make; he'd grown up with it and it's one of his favorite meals.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion, sliced or chopped
  • 1-2 cans red kidney beans with liquid
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1-2 pounds dry spaghetti

Directions

  • Brown beef and onion with desired seasonings in a large pot and drain. Add remaining ingredients with enough water added to cook the pasta, and cook according to pasta directions. DO NOT DRAIN.
  • This dish is best served a day or so after cooking. The longer you wait the better it tastes. The pasta will puff up as the cooking water is absorbed.
