Mom's Sour Cream Pound Cake
3 cups sugar
2 1/2 sticks butter
1 cup sour cream
6 large eggs
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. vanilla extract (can sub orange for this)
3 cups cake flour
Preheat oven to 300 degrees
Cream together sugar and butter
Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing between
Add sour cream
Add flour and soda
Add flavoring, continuing to mix.
Bake between 1 hour and 1 hour 15 minutes in greased bundt pan.
