Mom Mom's Pumpkin Bread

I can remember being younger and smelling this when I cam home from school. Try it toasted with butter!

 


INGREDIENTS

  • Cooking Time: 60
  • Servings: 3 loaves
  • Preparation Time: 5
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup corn oil
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 lb. can pumpkin (not the pumpkin pie mix)
  • 3 ½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. ground cloves
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg, ground
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

DIRECTIONS

Mix all ingredients together.


Pour into greased loaf pans - 2 9"-loaves or 3 8"-loaves lined on the bottom with Reynolds Parchement paper.


Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, checking with a tooth pick to make sure they are done.
