- 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 1 can of pinto beans
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- 1 can of tomato paste (optional)
- Brown meat and drain. Add pinto beans and tomato sauce. Simmer on medium heat, letting mixture thicken. Can add tomato paste if you want it really thick, or if you would like the taste of tomato's.
- Can add elbow macaroni too. Sometimes I add ketchup. Serve with a salad and garlic bread.
NotesMy mom fixed this all the time when I was a child. My mom is deceased now, so when I fix it, I always think of her.
