MOTHER’S NOODLE PUDDING

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pkg noodles
  • 2 T melted butter
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1/2 lb pot cheese
  • 1 C sour cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1-1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

  • Parboil noodles.
  • Beat egg yolks.
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add pot cheese, sour cream and vanilla to beaten egg yolks.
  • Blend parboiled noodles.
  • Stiffly beat egg whites.
  • Fold beaten egg whites into mixture.
  • Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
