MOTHER'S PECAN PIE

- Servings: 1 pie
- 3 lg eggs, sl beaten
- 1 cup sugar (1/2 to all brown)
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 9" pie crust
- 1¼ cups pecans (whole or broken)
Mix ingredients well and pour into 9" pie crust (which has been partly precooked if desired). Pour pecans over top.
Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes. (decrease in "jiggle" when shaken from side to side). Cover with aluminium foil for last 15 minutes if top too brown.
