  • 9 c Chex cereal
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c peanut butter
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c powdered sugar


  • Measure cereal, and set aside in a large bowl. In a microwaveable bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Heat on High 1 minute, stir. Microwave ~30 seconds until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour mixture over cereal and stir using a silicone spatula until evenly coated. Pour cereal into a 2-gallon ziploc bag. Add powdered sugar and seal bag. Shake until cereal is well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Serve cold.
