Mutton Margandam or bone soup
250gms Margandam mutton(mutton pieces with fat taken from the ribs)with bones
6cloves of garlic
1tsp cumin seeds
1tsp red gram dhal or Thuvar dhal
Salt to taste
Place all ingredients in a pressure cooker and add 4large cups of water.
Cook on medium or slow flame for four whistles.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and some lime juice.

This soup is very delicious and made during the cold winter months!It is a wholesome soup and generally served before a meal and suitable for young adults and older persons.
