Why I Love This Recipe
I got this recipe from a coworker. I never made pot roast before and never really enjoyed pot roast. Once I made this crockpot pot roast it has become my favorite beef meal to make for dinner, especially during the fall and winter months. It's so simple you won't even believe just a few ingredients can go a long way. I usually pair my pot roast with oven roasted potatoes, onions, and carrots. I will post that recipe separate. Hope you enjoy!
Ingredients You'll Need
One 2 1/2 pound beef roast
One packet of dry brown gravy (I use McCormick brand)
One packet of dry Italian dressing seasoning (I use Hidden Valley)
One packet of dry Ranch dressing seasoning (Hidden Valley)
One cup of water
Directions
In a medium sized bowl add all three seasoning packets and whisk together with one cup of water. (Takes about 10-15 seconds)
Add the beef roast to your crock pot and pour the seasoning mixture over the roast.
Set crockpot on low for 8hours or high for 4hours.
You can add vegetables such as carrots, onions, and potatoes in with the roast while it cooks or you can roast your vegetables separately.
