My school cafeterias pizzaburger recipe.
7lbs. hamburger, 2(26oz.) jars of tomato sauce, 4(5.5oz.) cans Armour potted meat, 1# bag of shredded Mozzarella cheese, enough yellow american cheese squares to top each burger, and enough top and bottom hamburger buns.....one bun, top and bottom make two burgers....most people eat three to four. One foil lined cookie sheet.
Cook the hamburger till crumbley, drain. Add in tomato sauce and cook 5 minutes. Next, add in the potted meat and the mozzarella cheese and mix well. Next, put the hamburger buns on a foil lined cookie sheet use each top and bottom (one bun should be two burgers) Spoon some for the hamburger mixture onto the buns. Set your oven to broil. Put your oven rack way up to the top bracket. Bake five to seven minutes, wath to be sure they get crisp but that the edges arn't getting too brown because the yellow cheese has to be added on top yet and has to melt. Once they are crisp. place one yellow american cheese slice on top of each burger and put back under the broiler for 2min. Remove and enjoy!

I had been searching for the recipe that tasted like the ones I had all thru school. They were so good to me. Some recipes came close but not quite. One day I met a woman who use to work at my school in the cafeteria. I asked her if she remebered the recipe and she said her kids and grandkids liked them when she made them at home so she was able to give me the recipe.
